FAQ:
How do you clean that mirror!?
For oil and mirror pieces only: I clean each mirrored piece once every 6 months, and before every showing or sale. Please be very careful in cleaning that you do not cut yourself, all the mirror used is broken glass. Lay the art on a sturdy flat surface. Dampen a paper towel with your favorite commercial glass cleaner and run it along each glass piece, working in small sections. Stay away from the edges and be careful not to get the cleaner on the oil paint (no stress if you do, just wipe it off quickly). Using a standard white coffee filter, buff the glass until clean. Touch up any spots with a microfiber wipe designed for eyeglasses or cameras. Viola! (The large canvases typically take me 15-20 minutes to clean all the mirror.)
I find compressed air works great for dusting oil and resin paintings.
How do I clean my resin art?
Lightly buff resin areas with a microfiber designed for eyeglasses or cameras (do not use any solution or treated wipes). Since most of my resin paintings also have acrylic painted on the resin, be very careful that you do not buff the painted areas.
